Tipping Points Explainer by Carbon Brief

Climate change is observed through many continuous, gradual changes. CO level2 in the atmosphere. Ocean temperature. Global sea level rise. The cumulative effect of these changes could also cause dramatic and irreversible changes to fundamental parts of the Earth system. "Tipping points" are turning points where these changes could trigger sudden or irreversible changes in parts of the Earth system.
