Clothes? Well. You are invited to the chair upholstery workshop! The workshop is intended for anyone interested in handicrafts and who supports good practices in repairing and reusing items. We will be guided by experienced craftsmen from the Reuse Center from Ormož.
You can always bring products that you no longer need and are still in good condition to the Reuse centers - the staff will prepare the items for reuse and sale.
By purchasing existing products in their green shop, you can also take something interesting home with you. This will save you money, conserve natural resources, and support local jobs.

Join us for the most fun, creative and sustainable event of the summer – the Reuse Festival, set by the idyllic Lake Bled.
The REPper project will also be there! By making repair the easy, smart choice, we help extend the life of products and reshaping "throwaway" culture into one of sustainability and inclusion.

By investing in low-carbon smart buildings, property owners can generate significant savings, secure a competitive advantage, improve operations, and reduce their carbon and environmental footprint. Users and tenants of real estate also clearly have an interest in reducing costs and improving the quality of buildings. Greater building efficiency and smart active buildings are one of the key aspects for achieving the goals of climate neutrality and a better living and working environment. Digital and green technologies in buildings will be key to achieving the set goals or can greatly accelerate the achievement of these goals.

Invitation to the final conference of the European project Urban soil for food
Spoštovani,
The European project Urban land for food, which has been running since 2017 under the auspices of Urban Innovative Action, brings together eight partners, in addition to the Municipality of Maribor, which is the leading partner, also Dustvo activitaj se, the company Snaga, the Institute of Construction of Slovenia, the company Deltaplan, E- INSTITUTE, Institute for Project Consulting, Research and Development of Comprehensive Solutions, Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Wcycle Institute.
Urban Soil 4 Food focuses on the field of land management as a resource. This, for example, after construction works, is not disposed of as waste, but is included in the process of further use and is enriched by the use of processed organic waste generated in other, project-related processes. The soil is a tool for improving previously devalued land into new usable areas for gardens that produce food that returns to the local environment as a new resource. All of this is an opportunity for responsible and sustainable waste management, creating new income, added value, new green jobs and local self-sufficiency, which are also the main goals of implementing an innovative business model.
The project will be successfully completed at the end of November 2021, and its footprints in the city and its surroundings will be permanent. We will talk about the results, experiences and long-term effects of the project on the transition to a circular economy at the final conference, which will be held on Thursday, September 9.9.2021, 10, between 15.30 a.m. and XNUMX:XNUMX p.m., in Maribox in Maribor.
We collect applications via the online form that you can find here. We kindly ask you to register by September 8, 2021 at the latest. The closing conference will be conducted under the epidemiological conditions that will apply on the day of the conference.
