Funded by the Recovery and Resilience Facility, this €295 million project supports energy renovations for private households, including promoting renewable energy use and tackling energy poverty.
It provides vouchers for low-income households, making sustainable energy more accessible. The scheme works by supporting the cost of works carried out, usually at a rate of 50-70%. For low-income households in energy poverty, a voucher scheme is foreseen which avoids households having to make the payment first and waiting for reimbursement (EUR 30 million).
